Push It - Salt 'n' Pepa

"A cross between Ugly Betty and High School Musical" these are the magic words that made my ears prick up and decide that Glee was a program I didn't want to miss. And I'm pleased to say it lived up to it's hype - I've got something to fill the void between now and when Ugly Betty starts again, yippee!

The double episode introduction to Glee was full of great musical numbers and it was much funnier than I expected, not that I was watching it because I thought it would be 'unfunny' but you know what I mean. Amongst many spiffing musical renditions the highlights were Don't Stop Believing, Gold Digger, Take A Bow and On My Own (I love Les Mis!). But when they performed Push It it just took me back to being at school myself and remembering how much I loved this song. I'd never have been brave enough to join a 'Glee club' during my school days though. I wouldn't sing in public now either, I'll stick to singing in my car, office and (under the influence) in Freya's front room on Singstar. Matt will you download Don't Stop Believing, I bet it's available now it's strangely become popular again?

There are all kinds of clips and pictures from Glee on the E4 website but below is the original and best in all it's glory

Wow, has that 'review' (in the loosest sense!) knocked your socks off? There's plenty more where that came from, browse our articles by genre...

Poo - missed it but will catch it on replay. Thanks for the review. WE all think we're good at singing really!
