What a beautiful day, certainly too nice to be stuck in a sunlight starved office (boo) this is beer garden weather peeps! Unleash your pasty little legs and get out there. Too busy for blogging of late but have got to squeeze one in because I'm loving this song at the moment, so this is short but very sweet.

Can't recall now how I heard about Alex Clare, but for a man with a girly name he can't half belt one out. Last Friday I was wracking my brain to remember a. his name, b. how the song went and c. where I'd 'seen' this song. That's the weird thing I knew what he looked like but Googling "man with gingerish beard and gravelly voice" didn't help? Funny that!

It bugged me all night and thankfully on Saturday morning thanks to my browsing history I found him, have since found his name scrawled in my notebook too, doh! The Guardian had done a feature on him in their Music bit see here. Apparently he's Amy Winehouse's ex, a fact that will no doubt be mentioned in every interview he does forever.

Anyway, he's got an album out soon I think so keep your ears open. Enjoy, this is v good. Turn it up loud, choon!!!

Thank you Emma for being my musical pied piper. I'd not heard this before and I agree it's a belter. You are one talented little music finder... it's almost like they are truffles waiting for you to snuffle them out x
