Wow! Last night was amazing - Bev rules! I don't quite know what to write because I don't want to sound too OTT, you know when people really enthuse over something and you think "all right mate, steady on", well I don't want people to think that when they read this - if anyone actually does read it ;) I should take this site offline and just keep a diary, it would be much easier!

But anyway, to anyone that wants to listen to my ramblings I can't be anything other than 'gushing' about last nights gig, because it really was one of the best live performances I've ever seen. My jaw is slightly achey this morning for a number of reasons - talking too much, singing along a lot, staring open-mouthed like a plonker and smiling when not doing any of the other things. We all came away last night with huge smiles on our faces and nothing but praise for the brilliant Beverley, Tony who had his 'Bev cherry' popped last night was suitably impressed and now understands why me, Natty and Rach love her so much and go to see her time and time again.

We all said that as we were watching her we wondered how it is that she's not more 'famous', now I don't mean that in a disrespectful way, I can't really equate how successful she is because I'm no expert and I'm sure she is more than happy with herself and rightly so. What I mean is that it doesn't seem 'fair' that contestants on shows like the X Factor will become super famous in 5 minutes with nothing more than a pretty face, decent karaoke voice and a bit of luck and then go on to sell record breaking amounts of records. I suppose as with most things in life it's quality not quantity isn't it?

Now I don't know what vitamins Bev takes, but whatever they are I want some - my God she's got some energy! I don't know how she can sing so flawlessly and dance around with such gusto at the same time, I can't walk and talk on my mobile without sounding like some kind of breathless pervert! She performed a lot of songs off her new and v good album 100%, when she sang Bare the whole room was hanging on her every word, it was a proper 'hairs on the back of neck' moment. She gave a really heartfelt and beautiful rendition of Gold too, me and Nat love this song and were both a bit wobbly lipped when she sang this and dedicated it to her family.

She did a few classics too like Greatest Day, Made It Back and one of my all time fav tracks Flavour Of The Old School. Judging by the response she got from the packed Symphony Hall I'd say everyone went home happy and humming, when you see someone who is better live than on CD it's a real treat. I think her tour is ending tonight so if you've not been lucky enough to see Miss Knight this time around make sure you keep your ears to the ground and try to see her if you get chance, you won't be disappointed! I couldn't agree any more.I was lucky to be in the front row at the abc In Glasgow AMAZING what a party it was that night,I wrote my Twitter name on a a4 piece of paper & she saw me waved a few times & god I love her.
