I think the sun has gone to my head! Two posts in two days, it's craziness I know. It's been a lovely day here, I hope the sun's been shining on you wherever you've been. I've been making the most of it as has my dog Homer who's been for a nice swim in the lake and is now happy, damp and smelling weird downstairs (having just read that last bit back it sounds very Carry On!)

It's F-F-Friday! And it looks like the sun is trying to make an appearance so that can't be bad can it - everything seems that little bit better on a sunny day. So seeing as how I'm feeling a little bit cheerier than of late I've decided to write a post - I know wowser! Wonders will never cease! A competition to celebrate this wondrous occasion is in order I think...

Life's a bitch isn't it? You can be feeling on top of the world one day, and then the next day all kinds of bad things can happen that leave you rock bottom. And when things are bad there's not much you can do other than keep plodding on and hope that things will get better soon. If you stop you'll start sinking, you've got to keep moving and small steps are better than none.

I'm feeling v positive today, I'm not sure why but I am and I like it! It could be due to the football last night. Another frustrating draw for the Villa, now why should that cheer me up? Well it didn't exactly make me happy BUT chewing it over in the bar afterwards made me think I don't want to sit here with a long face - we didn't lose, we're still in with a chance of fourth (not that I think we're ready for CL), we've got a good team and manager. So why not look on the Mr Brightside!

Long, long time no post! I'm red faced at my tardiness. Have been super busy of late, a feeble excuse I know but a valid one nonetheless. I've not been in glee rehab (Glee-hab? now that could catch on!) nor have I won the lottery and emigrated. Does anybody actually know anyone who's won a substantial amount on the lottery? I've won a tenner in about a year, I could have saved myself the trouble and £104! Betting is a mugs game, fun though.

I'M A GLEEK!!! I'm the wrong side of thirty and have been stupidly excited all day about a programme that I imagine is aimed at teenagers - not the likes of me. Teenagers who don't know half the songs from the program (that are now storming the download charts) from the first time round, now that's a depressing thought! Oh well, like I said I am a gleek and I love it!

Just a quickee to say big whoop because I've just managed to book some tickets to see Florence and the Machine :) I've been wanting to see her live for ages now and missed out on her previous tour but tickets have gone on sale this morning at 9am for dates in May. TOP TIP for not getting stuck in an annoying cyber queue...

We all love free stuff - whether it's worth having or not! I'm off down the Villa tonight (to hopefully see us progress to the final of the Carling Cup) and we all get a free flag! Woohoo! I'd like to stress that while a free flag is great that's not the main reason for going, they should have given us free booze after the West Ham game! And when I stumbled upon this track which I took an instant shine to I was 'delighted' to discover that it was available as a free download.
